c. 1756 Footstool:

A 2009 Class Project

The original footstool is attributed to John Elliot Sr. and is one of a rare set of four made from walnut. Owned by the Philadelphia Historic Society, the footstool was shown during the Worldly Good Exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Arts. Our version is made from mahogany. If you are interested in building this piece remotely, plans, video podcast and full on-line support are available. Please see the class information for details.
